I gave myself total freedom the first week (and I ate a load of carbs/cheese/sweets) Then I started using a fitness app (MyFitnessPal) try replacing ice cream with sugary and filling fruit (bananas/mangos/dates are great) Home made meals, plenty of veggies (buy a steamer, it's delicious 😋) homemade salad dressings. Foil cooked chicken or fish. You don't have to completely stop junk food either, just work your favourite snack into your day/week. |
One addiction will kill you (alcoholism). Sugar is probably not the best as a diabetic, but remember that it's not alcohol. Perhaps try some healthier sweets, fresh fruit comes to mind. But dietary advice is bordering on medical advice especially if you're diabetic, so I won't go there. Just offering you some encouragement. |
