That is the Swiss Reinsurance building Leigh - universally known as "The Gherkin"I have been in it with my boss to meet our firms bankers torture but the building was good.

I think the building is the same (I never see it from that angle) It is a bit hard to tell as I am only looking at my phone screen. My pic was in Bishopsgate.

Nice buildings. "The Gherkin"

Sao, come move out to the prairies, you can ride your bike for as far as you want and still see your house when you turn around!

Bike rack installed. sober bus rolling along...

My wife bought a Townie a few years back, I liked it so the next year I bought one two.

I'm on but I just got off work, have the graveyard shift for a while, so I'll just sleep in the back.

Sleep tight Mick, I'll try not to bounce the bus too much. That Lazy-y-boy in the back it getting good use, maybe I should install another?

Time to get this jalopy on the move. Another sober day, it's the only way.

Poplarfield, Manitoba can be found near the center of the Interlake region (Between Manitoba's two inland oceans). When trying to find out more about this monument, I repeatedly came across the following blurb. So there is no single source I can credit for this.
"This sculpture was placed on its pedestal in the year 1991 paying tribute to a magnificent resourceful animal, the White Tailed Deer, that lives and thrives among us all today. It provided sustenance to the pioneers during hard times, then recreational sport for the hunters of today. Therefore, let us strive to protect this animal for future generations. Great community participation, support, and donations from people and businesses near and far have made it possible to erect this monument in all its majesty."

Welcome Mick.

I just happen to have peddled to work today so that bike rack would come in handy. Either way, I'm glad to be here!

Leigh, I'm with you. I don't think I could work in a glass building.
