Sadly not Leigh, or only a little bit anyway. It's frustrating. I took an AD for years but now when I want to get back on it, I just feel awful. I had to take the day off work day, as a feel so out of it. Don't know if I can keep taking it as the initial side effects might persist for a week or two if I do.
Plus, I also have a cold which is dragging me down anyway.
It's frustrating. I'm totally secure in my sobriety and trying to make things happen rather than just sit tight and hope for the best. But progress is slow.

Colds drag me very low, also. How long have you had the cold?

I had a similar issue with Zoloft when I tried to start taking that in January, but that adverse reaction was much more severe. It worked out well as it gave me a jump start in sobriety as I was so ill I couldn't drink for a week. In the process of going back to the doctor I decided to try to work on the drinking side of things instead. And here I am 115 days sober.
Yes. Seems like a common problem. I am tolerating it a bit better already, maybe. It's a bit worrying because I relied on Lexapro for several years and now I seem to have developed a sensitivity to it.

Hope that you continue to adjust to the new med, friend.
