Feeling bad
I quit drinking three months ago. Had blurry vision to start which is Now improved. Now I wake up every night at 3 am shaking and can not get back to sleep. I have became dizzy and dealing weak about a month ago. Never ate well before, one meal dinner usually plus beer. I have been trying to eat three protein rich meals and veggies and fruits. Feel better sometimes but not normal. Hypoglecimia and diabetes come to mind. Anyone had this a few months after quitting

Well, i did feel similar, but we're all diffrent, so its worth getting checked out.
My anxiety had me waking at night and staying that way while all of my resentments and shame from past events, and fear and hopelessness about future ones whirled round my head. In the day I sometimes didn't realise that my breathing had become shallow as I was getting myself into a state of panic or anxiety. Often I got dizzy, and found going to the supermarket and such places worrying as that seemed to be where I most noticed it and sometimes felt I was dying or might collapse (I never actually did though). Thankfully, when I started working a program of recovery things got better. Much better.
Please talk to your doctor though, as that's not necessarily what's making you feel this way. And even if ut is, they might be able to suggest things that can help.
Hope you feel better soon. BB

Update to Feeling bad.
Feeling a bit better still have hypoglecimia symptoms. Blood test showed higher liver enzymes 50 and 72 something like that. Had abdominal ultrasound the other day. My doc just called and told me I have no signs of cirrotic scaring and better yet my liver was clear and not even fatty. Thank God. IT still hurts a little depending on what I eat and my heart rate was a little high when I saw the doc 116 but could have been nerves. Anyways thank you guys seeing my doc made such a difference. Still be drinking for me. My goal is to make it through the summer clean and sober one day at a time. 😀
