1 year sober!!!
Today marks my one year anniversary of freedom from the hell that is alcoholism. There have been some tough moments, but surprisingly it has not been as hard as I thought. I think mostly it is because I NEEDED this. I WANTED this. Being a drunk robs me of who I truly am and what I hope to be.
I love being sober. I don't miss drinking for a second; it was mostly misery for me. Life is so much better with a clear head and good health. I am more productive, more loving, more responsible....the list goes on.
So, today I am giving a very well deserved congratulations to myself. I f@*kin' did it! And I am f@*kin' damn proud of myself.
And I am not going back.

Massive congrats to you!!
You should be proud of yourself. It takes some doing to do what you have achieved.
I remember my first year celebration.I kept pushing on to get there.
Nothing and no-one was going to stand in my way of me reaching 1 whole year.
Keep going. Keep putting the effort in. Keep coming here too.
Wishing you the best xx
