Who is your most inspirational speaker?

I just started to listen to AA speakers on YouTube. I find it very helpful (Keeps me grounded. I can listen to them while I am working and it is great, because it does not allow my mind to wander to darker waters... If you know what i mean... Plus, I learn more about the program... Anyway, was just wondering if any of you could share which speaker has moved them the most... Thank you and Happy Easter, everyone!

Yes. I listened to the pilot story last night. Enjoyed it very much. Great story with great narrative...

Earl Hightower and Sandy Beach. And another couple whose names I can't remember right now so will come back with them.

I used to use youtube, but now use this site more as there are so many to choose from and in step order... http://www.recoveryaudio.org/ I have a cheap little mp3 player that I download them onto so I can listen while driving or in my lunch hour, or on public transport. Pretty handy.

I read the book "Stop Drinking Now" by Allen Carr. I credit this book and the accompanying CD as a major factor in helping me to achieve sobriety for this past year.

The book focuses on the mental trickery that goes on when it comes to booze. It worked for me and the concepts completely registered with my situation.

I am going to listen to the CD tonight as I celebrate my first year of sobriety.

I HIGHLY recommend this book.

Kip C has an inspiring story. Got so low he shot himself in the chest, had all kinds of tragedy in his life. Yet he died sober, and helped many alcoholics.

Oh yes. I was as well. I'd been listening to him regularly before I found out. It felt like hearing about a friend had died. Although he died pretty much how and where I imagine he'd have most liked according to the article I read.
