Bout of illness caused me to face my drinking.
hey guys n gals,
I recently (over a month ago now) had a bout of illness that caused me to stop drinking and evaluate my choices. Now im over a month sober and about 15 kilo lighter. I had a full workup by the docs (im 33) but they said the tests that came back plus the amount i was drinking would most likely mean no permanent liver damage.
I still consider this early days but im on the way to recovery, drinking is so far from my mind right now its almost gone!
