Day 5
 

Hi I'm 5 days sober. I'm avoiding my best friend as she's drunk everyday. We drink together so am avoiding her like the plague. It feels good to be sober. I like reading about other ppl who are sober for 5 days too
I can only look at this one day at a time. I'm tired of feeling tired and I'm tired of the astronomical cost of drinking. We wld go to bars and spend money and/or stop
at the LB for wine. I'm older and have to start looking after my physical, spiritual and financial well being and my relationships with my family

Your friend will always be your friend, I told my friends that I needed to focus on my recover first and foremost, they understood and we're still best friends.. take care of number 1 for a while!! Wishing you the best!!
