I also appreciate your opening up and sharing the "language of the heart".
Every day isn't payday (i.e. an easy day), and sometimes we go through a lot of real pain, even in recovery.
But we ask for help and we endure that pain as we seek to learn and do the next right thing.

I have 5 years coming up soon and it makes me feel teary. If I had 25 years? I don't know what I would do!! It would be tears galore!!
I see a lot of similarities - like the last time you drank and the memories you have of that.
I remember my last time and like you, nothing bad happened, but I knew I was done.
I wish you the best and I hope I always 'know' you xx

Wow...25 years, that is inspirational. .. in 25 years I will be 67.... I was quite sure I'd be dead by then. But now I hope maybe I won't, that in itself is quite a big change! Well done and thanks for the honesty of your post, it is beautiful. X
