Sober Bowl!

Ready for a good game! Excited that I'm going to be sober. Anybody want to pick the winner and affirm that this party stays sober? I'll start:

I say Falcons and yes I'm sober now, till the game next Sunday, and after!

Patriots all the way!!! First sober Super Bowl in many years, looking forward to watching my boys win and remembering the whole game!

Hate to say it, but after watching them trounce my Steelers last week, I know how this is gonna turn out for the Falcons!

I will be at work til about 930, wonder if I'll get to catch the half time show.

Pats will have a hard time with Atlanta's offense. To many weapons and to versatile for really any d to stop. But when you have Brady you have chance.

31-27 Altanta

The last time I watched the Super Bowl sober was in 1988 when the Redskins beat the Broncos. I remember sitting in my apartment alone on a cold winter night.

New England will probably win but it would be nice to see Atlanta take it.

I remember that game well. Skins ripped them in the 2nd quarter. I was a junior in hs then.

This is a hard one to pick for me this year. Both teams are hot. Atlanta has an offense that can score a lot of points when they get on a roll. NE has one of the better defenses in the league. It reminds me a little bit of the Denver vs Seattle SB where you had a prolific Denver offense going against a great Seattle defense. No one expected Denver to be held to 8 points with a red hot Manning at QB, nor did they expect Seattle to be able to put up 43 points. I don't think NE's defense is as good as Seattle's was that year, but it will be one of the better ones they have faced this season.

My prediction is that NE will win based on their experience of being there so many times. But I'm not all that comfortable about it due to Atlanta's explosiveness. I'm a Panthers fan so I don't have a dog in this hunt, just hoping for an exciting game and some entertaining commercials.

Oh yeah, 4th SB in a row sober for me. I don't even equate the SB with drinking anymore...and I remember who won the next morning too. :D

Since my Cowboys were knocked out, I am going with Atlanta. I like the underdog. Besides, I like seeing new teams in the Superbowl, not the same ones over and over. Sorry Patriots fans.

Oh, I'm definitely rooting for the Falcons!!
