Today

Has been so good, positive, peaceful, heartwarming in small and wonderful ways. I feel loved, fulfilled and unworried. I am grateful for my health and wellbeing right now. I'm not looking at the bigger picture of my life as there's all sorts to worry over there, there will be a time to address some of that.
I know that 'this too will pass', but I just wanted to share, as I think this day and my awareness of it, is down to my sobriety.
Being sober has been the key to better decisions, brave decisions, listening to others and their wisdom, giving and taking support. Having a lot less to be ashamed of, trying to do things differently, associating with new groups and responding to new opportunities.....I could go on and on....
Whoever is reading, I hope you have some of this in your life, or some to come.
Xx

Glad you are having a good day and thank you for all of the positive reminders! We all need to hear these kinds of things.

I could have written your post! One of the main thoughts I have had every day for a good run now is "what on earth don't I have to be grateful for??" Amazing.

Really glad to hear !
A gratitude journal is something I started a few months back, following others example on SR, it's part of the improving picture for me I'm sure of it.
Stay well.
