Manchester by The Sea movie (won't spoil)
 

Went and saw it yesterday- fantastic movie. What acting! For alcoholics there is a valuable message derived from one poignant scene that leads to untold misery. Sad, but an excellent reminder about the harm booze can do. Catch it if you get a chance.

Thanks- will check it out. My sponsor is a genuine 'old timer'. He 'suggested' in my infancy recovery I 'might' be interested in watching the classic 'Days of Wine and Roses.'. I avoided that film, even TV ads that discouraged drinking like the plague unless my now ex, noticed I was drinking. A very sad film. Hated it- but learnt a lot. PJ
