Thank you for spelling out how you deal with the queasy feeling. I think there are a lot of similarities to the AV that we teach in AA. Someone else posted that, too. You call it AV, we in AA call it ego, the broken mind, or a thought not from God.

How does AVRT teach you all to quiet your AV? And are you all taught to be firm with it, or can you also be gentle with it? I love what you said to it. Sometimes I get scared of it and so it grows back.

My answer to the survey was that I get queasy only sometimes. I had a stomach of steel for the most part when it came to drinking.
