I wasn't sober last Christmas and it was miserable. I am sober this Christmas and it's still kinda' miserable....but not nearly as awful as last Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all!

First sober xmas for 25 years and enjoyed not being the centre of attention (in not a good way) in contrast to previous years - having a clear head rocks! It was weird though, with family drinking around me, people posting pictures of their drinks on social media, but I made it safe n sound! Blessed...

First sober Christmas ever (day 4 completely alcohol free). It was TOUGH, but drinking would have made it tougher. Hoping next year the toughness can be swapped for an easier more joyous time!

This was my third Christmas without a hangover as well.

Christmas hangovers were one of the most sad parts of my drinking.

Christmas 2013 I stayed in bed and pretended to have the flu. There was a big dinner with lots of people out in the living room. I hid in the bedroom.
