Well, here I am with my monthly sober reminder to myself. Going on a trip for Christmas and this will be the first real test where I will be in a boozy environment. I am determined to have fun and I am positive I will not drink. My wife is going with me and I'm looking forward to it. It's funny, how in the past I would plan on where to go get drunk while travelling and to figure out which place stay open the longest. Now, I'm planning healthy and interesting cultural activities instead. Thank God I've got out of the drinking business. Stay the course, it's all up and down but mostly up, if you make a decision to give up the bottle. You have to stay active and try to find alternatives in life. Trust me, there's hope out there.
