Unhappy 3rd day, tried to make the bed, roflmao

Couldn't,t get out of bed this morning, gremlins in my brain were playing with the squirrels and hadn't slept more than 30 min at a time.
I know that must make sense to somebody here?
I crawled to the bathtub a filled it, getting in. I swear I saw green fumes coming off me. Turned shower on, then refilled bath to soak more.
Still didn't have mentality to get into decent clothes, sweats it is then.

Then I tried to make my bed, which is a queensize air mattress on the floor. It would've been a great Americas' funniest video. I fell over more times than I did the whole time I was drinking. Blankets wrapping around my feet, oops there she goes again.
I now have only one thing on my list to get done today; don't drink. Anything else will be miraculous

Hang in there! You're right: only one to do matters, don't drink.

My first days.....moving from bed to sofa was an achievement. Taking a bath was huge. Eating anything was....a feat. It all gets better.

Take care of yourself- you can do this.

I know exactly what you are talking about with the jumbled but incredibly vivid head space activity trying to sleep the first few days. I think after my last relapse, I finally got about 4 hours of sleep on night 3. Not good sleep... But still sleep.

Hang in there. You can get through this. Think of anything you can do in this state as an accomplishment and give yourself credit. Withdrawing can be one of the toughest things a human can do.
