i loved smoking cigarettes while drinking. I also liked to gaze at the starts with my telescope or just sit on my back porch and enjoy the night air. I liked to burn trash while drinking too.
i couldnt cope with really anything unless i drank and well i was so addicted i'd have horrible panic and such as i started to withdrawel.
I did enjoy doing all those thing s too and dont do any of them now that i'm sober. But most of the htings i did while drinking just went to crap. even the above list went south as the night wore on.

i have a 24/7 shop that sells alcohol so it was very very easy to stay up all night and into the next day drinking. I wish i got barred from that shop (they actually caught me stealing but let me get away with it)
I used to
- watch documentaries and listen to music, go through old photos and play guitar all night
- send messages to people that when i would wake i would cringe so hard that i would punch the wall
- start drinking at 7pm or a regular time and then finish at about 9pm the next day
- stay up drinking all night then go a for a walkaround London with my headphones on and a can in one hand and just walk for hours and hours, this could be late at night or during the day, i would sometimes go to a pub on my own but would mainly buy cans. The last two years i had no job so this became a regular occurrence.
I mainly liked drinking on my own and do very occasionally miss it, overall it was ruining my life and i am better off without it.

I loved to smoke while drinking. Never one without the other. Smokes gone 4 years in October. Kinda lost drinking without them so I started drinking while watching Intervention. I also liked to take my drink on the front porch in the dark of the night listening to night noises.

Use booze to bring me down from other things that were causing me not to sleep.
At times drinking hard at 2 or 3 AM
so as to be ready for a long day at work (reporting in around 7 AM.
Showing up torn up and having one hell of a darn terrible day at work.
That was not living!

I thought i needed it to get all my chores done. But after dropping, spilling or tripping over something I'd usually just put headphones in, ignore the 'damage to my hearing' warning and not really any recollection after that.. just some bruises the next day. Joy :|

I want to avoid it this weekend. I plan to, but I know its in the back of my mind, and its only me that will choose 1 or the other.

Drink so much early in the morning before work
that I would wonder if I would safely make it to work.
Sad as I look back and think that "I liked that."
