I don't put alcohol in my mouth.

That includes mouthwash.

I don't think you relapsed, but I would pour the rest out and be done with it.

Yeah, obviously it bothered me. I never took another mouthful and got the non alcohol kind.. Still haven't taken it back to return, sometimes Walmart will take back opened things without a receipt if it's their brand.

My friend's stepson just celebrated 5 years of sobriety. He uses the alcoholic mouthwash because he claims it does a better job of cleaning and yet he has never relapsed.
I once chugged some over 20 years ago in a desperate moment when the cravings hit and no beer was available. I have never done it again. It just wasn't that good, even for a desperate addictive drinker such as I once was. I use non alcoholic mouthwash myself, but to thine own self be true. If it isn't a problem then it isnt a problem.

I feel like the non-alcoholic freshens my breath and washes out any leftover food particles and funk... Does the mouth need to be sterilized with alcohol? lol

Some people also use hydrogen peroxide.

My dentist reckons non alc is better for everyone as alcohol dries out the moth and that promotes plaque and tartar
