Day 14

Today, well rather the other day marked 14 days sober. I am feeling refreshed and getting the best sleep I have had in 3 years. I haven't once thought about drinking and have surrounded myself around my family for the next few months to really get a grasp on my life and turn it around. Since I have quit I have noticed that I have been drinking a lot of soda, need to slow down on it but besides that I have been eating super healthy, oatmeal, brown rice and chicken pretty much daily plus at least a gallon of water if not more. All I need is to get back in the gym, that is where I am most comfortable. Anyways thank you from everyone on this forum, I have posted a few times and received great support to help me with this.You_Rock_

Congrats on 2 weeks. Keep up the great work! The gym is a great idea and will really help with staying sober. For me working out is part of my accountability.

Congrats on 2 weeks Smckay87 - you are doing great. The sugar cravings are very common, I think your idea to get back to doing some exercise is a great one too. Things will slowly get better and you are doing a lot of the right thigns, keep it up!
