For those who are around Halloween, hope it is a safe and sober one. It was a holiday always synonymous with costume parties at bars and lots of drinking in the past for me, I'm glad I can enjoy it sober now. The kids certainly come up with some clever costumes these days!

I couldn't bear to go back to the old insanity. We will wake up clear headed without that terrible feeling of dread. We are free.

I agree with being glad I can enjoy it sober now too. There is actually "Just" coffee in my traveling mug for the second year in row! Feels Great!

I am sober this Halloween. Other than on Halloween 2013 (when I had a short sober period) this is the first Halloween since 1988 that I didn't drink.

It's amazing, isn't it? I spent the night trick or treating with my kids. I used to dread Halloween.

Very happy to be sober. I was exhausted after work and then trick or treating with the kids. I couldn't imagine waking with a handover, and I don't ever want to imagine it again!

I went out with half the neighborhood parents and about 20 kids trick or treating. First time I had done that in years with a clear head. It was a lot of fun.
