Woohoo! You got some good news! Happy for you, Sleeps. The previous results were probably some kind of fluke because of something you ate or did, as you speculated. We need to make a pact to do eat more healthfully and exercise anyway and keep the bad numbers away.
I'll never give up my croissants though. Buttery carb goodness! Yum! Soberlicious, you reminded me of my grandma who used to love fried chicken livers too. It's a fave in many places around the world (my grandma wasn't originally from the US). Funny how you associate certain foods with certain people in our lives.

HI Delfin! Glad to see you. Thank you, it feels as if this latest bump in the road was a kick in the pants to be more conscious and active in my health. Its been a drama of mysterious health issues for a couple years now and I know you can relate.

As for croissants... I had my " last hurrah" with them a couple weeks back. There is a shop here that makes, as they put it, real French croissants. Heavenly. My BF and I shared a few and then kind of said "Nice knowing you" to the white carbs... It was a good note to go out on!

Thank you Aussie... I hope things just stay put as I embark on some strict dietary measures.

I am sorry to hear the storms are vexing you. I am in admiration of your abstinence from alcohol despite it

Yeah, it's crazy. I'll make it through with y'all and my family.

I have connected my insomnia with physical pain. I hurt constantly. I take naproxin sodium about 5 or 6 pm and sleep much better.

Shoot. What do you sleep on?
I have a hip/knee/back pain from years of very bad posture painting... we got a firmer mattress and it does help a bit.

I don't want to take too much bandwith in your thread, but so far very good. Lots of exercise today, I nailed dinner, and had a fine time hanging out with my wife tonight. I'm now off to bed.

Be well and focus on positivity.

I have a very firm mattress. I can't sleep on those pillow top things or the memory foam things. I sleep better on my air pad on the ground.

My knees need replacing. They are both wrecked. It's really funny that I can be painless walking but, when I stop moving the pain starts and builds.

The firmer the better for me too Trach. I always wondered can knee surgery be avoided later in life as it seems to be very common. Mine started giving me trouble in my 20's, maybe from running track in my youth.

On knees: Our knees are not evolved to vertical movement yet.

I shredded my right knee at 16, playing football. Got it rebuilt by the same doctors that treated UGA players. Bent my left knee riding a dirtbike at 20. As a result, I own 7 knee braces, mostly in pairs.
