Quit attempt 63 3rd night sober, rare on a friday. Last attempt was few weeks ago, lasted about 5 days. Bit lightheaded, bit shaky but not too bad. How many more attempts will it take? |
Thats pretty much up to you Zoso. If you do something different this time I think you have a better chance of a different outcome? Got any ideas on a plan to stay sober? D |

How about setting aside some specific time to read here and learn more about what it takes to stay sober? We have weekender threads, monthly threads and of course a very active newcomers forum. Surrounding yourself with people who are in the same situation with the same goal can be really helpful. You could also check into what local support groups are available ( AA/NA, Smart, LifeRing, etc ). Personal interaction and working a formal sobriety plan can be very empowering as well. You could also check with your doctor or local alchol/drug authority and see if there are an outpatient rehab or other types of alcohol/drug counseling available. Many times these services are free or sliding fee scale if money is an issue. Bottom line, invest as much time in getting sober as you do into drinking and you'll be amazed how far you can go. |
How ya doing zoso? You have our support here.... |

It only takes one attempt, when you are truly ready to do so. |
