Unhappy Gtt

Hi,

I recently was taken to A&E with breathing problems due to asthma, whilst there the doc took bloods and told me my Gtt was over 500, and that I should drastically cut down my alcohol intake, which, Im happy to say I am doing. Is this really excessively high? Bit worried

Hi Stella - welcome

None of us are Drs here, and we can't really interpret your results for you by our rules.

If you have a family Dr they're probably the best person to ask?

I'd definitely take the advice you got in the ER tho - and I'd even go one step further...why not quit for good?

D

Welcome to SR Stella, some good advice here already and I hope you'll stick around. There's a wealth of experience and good advice here if you decide that quitting is the best thing for you.
