Hello,
I've been drinking a litre of wine daily for the last 6 years, sometimes a litre and a half. I've started throwing up more and more (I also have really bad acid reflux) and decided I've had enough. I drank more then usual this weekend and woke up quite sick Monday. Drank a litre Monday afternoon and woke up sick Tuesday. Lots of vomiting Tuesday and the super shakes. Tuesday morning I started taking 5htp and lots of water and vitamins. Last night no vomited but lots of hot and cold flashes. Today just a bit uneasy. I'm regretting going cold turkey after reading how dangerous it is and I'm wondering how likely it is I'll have seizures and DTs considering how well I feel today. I bought a bottle just in case but I have no desire to drink it.
So my question is, how worried should I be that things will go from not bad to seizures, etc. And if I do start to feel really bad, will having a glass help or make it worse?
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately the only smart thing and reassuring thing to do is see your Dr about the detox process. Many here have tried it at home and usually they end up saying they should have gone to a Dr. It's really the only way to be assured it is safely done.
Hi and welcome dayone
even if we were Doctors there's no way we could tell you if you're headed for trouble - not over the net.
You'll need to see a Dr face to face to get a definitive answer to that question.
I think that's a better way to go than that bottle, if you're worried?
