8 weeks sober today. Feeling better. I still get headaches and pains in my side, but from all I read that's to be expected. I had a trip to the ER that turned up blood and protein in my urine and they said it was likely a kidney stone, but I still have the pains. It's a little concerning but I just take it one day at a time. I'm supposed to start a new job on Monday and I'm terrified I will be too sick to work.. Maybe that's just anxiety... I haven't really had any "ME" time to just relax since my husband has been very ill since he quit drinking in April and it feels like my daughter takes advantage of me now that she knows im sober. It's almost constant running around between his appointments and needs and her wants. I kind of miss those days that everyone would just leave me alone because they knew I was hungover and not going to do anything. I need to get a "Treat me like I'm hungover" sign.

Awesome, keep rocking it one day at a time. Never forget that patience and time are your friends, keep them both in large supply and you'll do fine.
