Starting to settle down

It's been 3 weeks since I last drank. The anxiety is starting to subside a little, and physically i've felt on a bit of a plateau. Seems a new withdrawal symptom has begun, as recent days I've sworn there were moths and insects etc crawling on me, yet nothing there. It will usually come up on a few different places on my body, last for a couple seconds, then go away. I know there are no insects there as i'm fully clothed over the areas i'm feeling the crawling. Quite a 'creepy' feeling (.......i'll show myself to the door...), however after what I've been reading about alcohol withdrawal and seeing a few posts on here, i'm more comfortable about it than not. I can rationalise it.

Anyways, just a little check in. I know I don't really contribute much (if anything) other than my own posts, but I still consider myself in a vulnerable position so I'm giving myself full focus for the foreseeable.

It's nice to feel that I've got a little more control over myself. Thanks for reading.

Nice of you to check in; that in itself is a contribution! I like seeing that a newcomer is still hanging out here.

Yes!! You feel like little bugs are crawling over you. And another thing is it would mess up with my sleeping and I would have sleep paralysis and horrible nightmares. I've been 2 weeks sober.

Great to hear jimmyc - thanks for the update
If you have any concerns always best to see a Doctor, I think?
