Creative Non-fiction About Alcoholism
Hey everyone, so... I'm up to 25 days! Yay!
I'm currently reading a book called Blackout: Remembering the Things I Drank to Forget by Sarah Hepola. It's a great book, and I highly recommend it, particularly to women. I found her thoughts on the "empowerment" drinking gives to women and how it played a big role in her beginnings as an alcoholic.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of any other good creative non-fiction about alcoholism and recovery. I love reading in my down time, and I figure reading books like this is a great way to keep me on my toes with my recovery.
Thanks for all your support so far and any input!

I read that one too and liked it. I have been doing a lot of reading since quitting (again) also just got a kindle that I use all the time. The following are a few that I read and thought were good: unwasted my lush sobriety , drinking to distraction, saturation and mrs.d is going without. I hope they help you as much as they have helped me. If for nothing else the reading calms me. Happy Reading!!!
