Heros is one of my all time favorite songs...a 'put on repeat till I can't stand it' sorta song...(along with Diamond Dogs of coarse!)

Going to see a Bowie tribute band this week. Still can't believe he's gone. He actually was "one of us"- literally. He fought alcoholism ( as well as hard drug addiction) and came out on the other end. Huge admiration for the man.

Same with Lou Reed and Eric Clapton. Both were alcoholics and successfully recovered.
I'd like to see Keith Richards stop drinking and go public with it.
