in sobriety do you become so philosophical? cause i feel like it's preach! from all who are... = to write or speak in an annoying way about the right way to behave - for those struggling i think it comes across as condescending

Everyone has their own story and their own particular specific problems - but it's hard for me to give advice on situations I haven't been in myself. Therefore, I try and post more general supportive responses that address the big picture. I'm sure I'm not alone!
And you're not alone either. If there's something that's hard for you, let it rip. You'll get some philosophical replies and a bunch of real specific stuff too. No harm in trying....?
