I think it's a huge step in the right direction reaching out for help!
Identifying you're alcoholic is HUGE too!! I'm an alcoholic and once I have that first drink there's no telling what will happen so I choose to not have that 1st drink and I do it one day at a time.
I'm 49 this year and things happen to your body and your metabolism changes.. Fact, alcoholism is progressive! some call it a disease or allergy etc.. Another fact is a mixture of party supplies like you mentioned kill people every day!!
