Thank-you every one for the kind thoughts prayers and well wishes...I'm crying as I read them all waiting here alone for her to come out of the lumpectomy surgery...it s been a long day as wire insertion at 7:45 then surgery was late at 2:30... It's 5:19 here now and she's not back yet..will update ..Godbless

Listening to Kenny Rogers "through the years" on my iPad with headphones on...bawling my eyes out...nurses giving me that hmmmm look...

Last week I went to the Dr. to have a couple moles removed and tested ..he mentioned I wouldn't hear from him should there be no concern..when we finally got home from the hospital tonight at 9 ish there was a phone message on the answering machine...the Dr. Wants to see me regarding my results..I'm completely mentally and spiritually exhausted..we shared the news of my wife with the girls tonight as we really couldn't keep it a secret much longer even tho the youngest has one more final test tomorrow..they were present when the message regarding my results played..I don't know if I can cope...sorry

Nanook, you can cope for today. God never sends us more than we can handle in one day. No need to be sorry. Try to remember that much of what you fear at the moment is not actually happening right now, and most of it probably won't happen. One day at a time.

Fear can really mess us up - but we can meet it with faith.
Sometimes we have no choice but to cope. It may not be fair but it is doable - especially when we don't do it alone

We received the results of the nodes tests today and they were not good..Stage llb...cancer in 1 of three nodes..next tests for spread to organs/bone..then chemo...devestated...numb...everything is blurry
