Wish I believed in psychics. I'd be consulting them about now.

I need a turtle.

Trust me, a turtle can be work. Junior has a 55 gallon tank for a home. Has to be emptied and cleaned once a month. I'm considering adding a tortoise to the house. Much lower upkeep and they're surprisingly affectionate.

Hello from dreary old Manhattan.

Does anyone have a cure for a sugar swoon? I ate an entire Godiva chocolate bar for breakfast. Don't ask me why.

Trach & Drake sounds like a TV show. Comedy, drama, or crime story?

I answered that earlier on my phone which I hate trying to type on. Now I can keyboard to my fingers content.

I say sci-fi for a reason. Ever watched Babylon 5? All the way through? It was written by one guy(with a few episodes by another) as a 5 year TV show. One long space opera. If you don't watch it all, it doesn't make much sense. When you watch the whole thing, it's great.

That's how this story goes. We're in this for the long haul. Not one episode stories. Not one season. And this isn't a TV show or movie. This is real life. This is real life and death.

Hi, Drake-

Just thought I'd chime in re: Olive, the Insane Pug.... and since she is diagnosed epileptic maybe it doesn't qualify, but-

Our lab has occasional seizures, maybe 2 during the fall and winter. No cause has been found. However, in the spring or summer she would get them much more frequently. We had a vet suggest it could be caused by chemical pesticides and fertilizer used on the lawn (cleaning her paws after walking on it, etc). Since then we have def seen a correlation after cancelling the service and using a company with 'natural' fertilizers.

Some dogs are more sensitive to it than others apparently.

I have discussed that with our vet and it is possible. We do have a lawn service but they claim they are using the same stuff as last year and she started doing this before this years application. But there is something that is triggering. Epilepsy in dogs is even more frustrating than with humans since we are more likely to get tests. A MRI for a dog is expensive and are often inconclusive.

Could it be flea meds?? My dog has had seizures from several for some reason he is fine with Advantix
