Thanks SR Friends

I hope it's ok to bother you folks with yet another thread, I literally in every sense of the word would not be here today and come this far in my life without you all... you guys have done so much for me here.

I have occasional spurts of renewed interest in life now that I didn't have for a very, very long time. I mean little things like picking up that book I left off long ago or getting a little exercise... Cow if you are out there, you re-sparked my interest in drawing just by being you and your way of expressing yourself.

You guys have seen a lot of things I go through in life. Your help in all my months of benzo withdrawal and quitting drinking for good so that I can arrive at a place of action has been crucial.

You all mean so much to me. And your input on my Testing Countdown thread has made me feel more like a valid human with some kind of, dare I say it- inherent right to a happy life?

Thanks you guys!

sleepie, you're the one that has kicked all the downers out of your life. You're the one scratching and clawing for little bits of happiness to put a whole happy life together. You're someone I am very proud to know.

I'm also glad you are finding some positive energy in your life Sleepie. Everyone here wants you to get better...but always remember that you are doing this too...you have power and energy and will to do good things, and you are doing them.

yeah spurts now and a lot more then that in due time. Its like you start to see that glimmer of hope but next ya know your life is good again overall and its not just a pipe dream that it can be good and its ok to feel good etc..

You've done well and it makes me happy to see how well you've done and how far you've come.

Aww, Sleepie. This made me tear up a little. Of course you have a right to a happy life. Please believe it every moment of every day.

yeah thats the big secret! it helps others to help you and you help others but helping them and allowing yourself to be helped etc..

everyone always talks about a cheerful giver but I think its also good to be a cheerful reciever and not deny someone the joy of giving etc..

me? i'm a stubborn one I hate asking for help and advice etc.. So you inspire me I see how you put it all out there and thats pretty brave.
