Made some very careful Ikea purchases today. 4th of July weekend has me pretty broke until next paycheck but I managed to get myself a table, shower curtain, pots, etc for very little. Now I feel a bit more settled.
Can't wait to have all my furniture moved here but that'll take me a few pay cycles!! I haven't gotten the quote yet but I know it'll be a bit pricey.

That should make a difference, Fantail, especially the shower curtain. 
I'm working all week to relieve the regular carrier, to give her a vacation.
The only good thing I can say about yesterday is that the rain somewhat cooled things down to an almost comfortable temp.
I've got four more days of, dare I say it...hell. Lol. These are 11 and 12 hour days.

I have crashed now after losing Venus; I'm not surprised. It feels like the flu. It's OK, I will get better. I stayed sober.

I like the ladies I work with. Well, we are only around one another for two hours of casing in the morning before we leave for delivery. Still, I am enjoying getting to know them.
One in particular will be inspiration for a character in my stories.
