I just taught a 3.5 hour long class. It's fun but tiring.

Also I'm having an "I wanna" problem. I wanna act out. Dunno what to do w/this.

I just made some cooked cabbage, laying off red meat for a while. But I do love the stuff for sure.

Ditto to the cole slaw. Didn't cook the whole head, so I shredded it to cole slaw. A real cabbage fest here.

Tired, voice shot after 2 hours of singing Renaissance church music, ready for bed.

Thx D. I looked up "extreme sports" on wikipedia. It said they require physical exertion, ability, and gear. I'm awkward, lazy, and cheap!

And inexperienced. I never took a gym class in my life. In games as a kid, I was the one getting hit over the head by balls that seemed to come out of nowhere. I played golf a bit one summer but only because I was hot for the teacher. I can paddle a canoe, but NYC kayaking is a fierce social scene I can't cope with.

I appreciate suggestions, though. "How to satisfy a snark bunny?"

Hi Snark Bunny, what is you mean to "act out?" What "feelings/compulsions" is you seek to satisfy?

Ah little cow-friend, at least I aroused your curiosity. It's just me opening up trash cans and digging around in the garbage. Does it really matter what it is? All roads lead to hell when I get thinking this way.

Not just curiosity, Bunny. I struggling with difficult compulsions and such and looking for insight and to understand from others' experience.

Of course, I always wish you very best, my dear snarky friend.

Finding an appropriate way to self sooth, I think. I think many of us aren't good at finding a way to self sooth that isn't destructive. A friend once told me she tied knots in heavy string. I sure see lots of people knitting/crocheting these days.

Love from Lenina

ABC Song Titles pulls through again:

Hey little sister, do you know what time it was?
When you finally seen all your broken dreams come crashing down your door
I said, they demand an answer and they demand it quick
Or the questions fade and the wasted days come crawling back for more

The face of isolation, well, that's one you recognize
When you can't get straight, it's a lonely place and it's the one you do despise
I said, boredom is for sale now and helplessness you feel
It's a wounded dove and the hawks are above, blood splattered on a reel to reel

And I say, do you know where the power lies
And who pulls the strings?
Do you know where the power lies?
I said, it starts and ends with you

Yeah, I was almost over and my world was almost gone
And in a sudden rush I could almost touch the things that I'd done wrong
My jungle's made of concrete through silence I can feel
Oh, my aim is true and I'll walk on through these mountains made of steel

Courage I get that at times too.
Sometimes I just want to pack my car, drive away, and not come back ( this isn't daydreaming either- I've done this type of thing)
Or just do something reckless.

I kayak and do other scary things which seems to help xo
