I'm in today with 3,067 days without a drink or being drunk.

A Happy Queen makes for a Happy King.
She don't think about my drinking days much anymore.

73 days. Came very close to slipping yesterday but I didn't. My mother in law passed away yesterday morning. I know she wouldn't want me to drink because of her. We are in the middle of moving into her house. I'm not sure how long it will be for me to feel comfortable in the house if I ever will get comfortable. All of her belongings are still there. This is going to be a very hard process. And I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep in the house.

Sorry to hear of your loss Jack.
As we go through these rough times and not drink
we are built up in our sobriety.

Part of staying sober is remembering that
in good times or rough times we
just don't drink no matter what.

There is a side of me that I need to keep an eye on.
Telling me at times
a little drink won't hurt
I won't get drunk as I did the many times before
yes, after this time sober I could probably drink like a normie.

Keep an eye on the one in the mirror.

Sorry for your loss Jack. I lost my Dad in December of 2014. It was a tough time, but I made it through sober and stronger for it.

Tomato, congrats on one month!

Justin, you hit double digits!

Congrats to everyone else and keep posting those counts...the numbers add up quick
