That's excellent, tonesward.
You CAN do this. I just read your previous posts, and I can relate to allowing life events to throw me off track and starting to drink again. I had quit for many years and when too many bad things happened all at once, I used my only coping tool.
I've now been sober five years on this second go-round. I can tell you that trauma and drama is way easier to handle with some sober time and finding other ways to deal with life on life's terms.
I hope you stick around and keep reading and keep posting. Use this site. There is a lot of wisdom in the threads.

Tonesward- congrats!!! A whole day is a real achievement. You’ve started the ball rolling. I think of Newton’s Law : something in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. Keep the ball rolling. Don’t let anything stop it. You have this power. Really, you do.
