Yes going back to counseling this week, I already go to church but I am going to get involved in a group there. AA online and in person.

Good ideas, most importantly - great to see you're turning those thoughts into action. Plans are terrific - but no plan by itself ever kept me sober. Implementing the plan is what keeps me sober.

I'm glad you're getting help. When alcohol leads you to be violent towards others, sobriety becomes a very serious responsibility. I hope you'll also see a counselor who has experience with domestic violence.
