Honesty will set you free, as uncomfortable as it can be. I told my ex that I needed to take time to get sober about 1 month ago. She told me that she didn't want to support me, and we split.
Although I have regrets about the relationship, I'm glad that it' s over. I wouldn't have been able to focus on sobriety if I was still keeping up that facade we all know too well: "I'm ok. You're ok."

Thats a wonderful achievement. If you can go for that long, you can go indefinitely if you choose to! I agree honesty really does set you free. My husband has no secrets from me and I want none from him. Being honest with him helped make it real to me. Someone on here recently said that addiction hates the light. That resonated for me. Shine a big ol torch on that mother f*n thing and watch it flee!
