Another Hurdle Crossed
This has probably been one of the most stressful weeks of my life, but I endured...without even the passing thought of taking a drink.
Those familiar with my story know I've been trying to sell my house for the past 9 months. (It had already been on the market twice for a total of about 3 years within the past 6 years). It finally sold today. I am temporarily renting a house while the one I want to rent, which is directly across the street from my old one, is being renovated. It's smaller and more manageable. Word is the owner may eventually want to sell it, too. It would be much better to buy a home that's already completed!
I decided to forego posting anything here about the process and wait until it was complete, as talking about it often only succeeded in increasing the stress. So glad it's over and I can breathe this weekend.
