:/panic disorder, /social anxiety,/ posttraumatic stress disorder, /generalized anxiety disorder.
Talk about multitasking
I'm craving a beer now.

I have three of them, hope you are kidding on the beer I am taking something called CBT treatment by a physiologist and it's making a big difference. I would encourage you to get meds for the PTSD from your doctor, in my case it's why I started drinking at the age of 16 and I never told anyone about my past until I was 49, the medication and help I am getting saved my life as alcohol put me on death's door step and I am honestly doing great.
Count me in for several of those too. It's not a failure at all...they simply diagnosed the problems. There are solutions for all of them and they can be improved dramatically. Drinking is not a solution though, it actually make them worse. Did you make any follow up or treatment appointments?
I can trump you with all yours and add bipolar.
Kept me drinking for thirty years.
It's no excuse with me now. I'm dealing with it and seeing a shrink and therapist. Sometimes action is necessary, just like quitting drinking.
Things are going well, and don't feel like you've been labeled. I am who I am.
I wish you the best.

Why have you labelled you thread "psychological evaluation failure"? To me it sounds like a "helpful and constructive psychological evaluation" that will help you move forward with the right care and treatment? It is not a test that we pass or fail!
Psychological diagnosis' can change, and of course their going to give a diagnosis so they have a code to put on the form to bill the insurance company. Stay sober for a year and see how you feel and how many of those diagnosis' remain accurate.
I rather think that most of us would get one of these diagnosis if we went thru your testing. It's like having another condition & thru other tests, they discover over things. Being alcoholics.....there were always underlying things. I had a very wonderful black psychiatrist tell me once, who worked in the addiction field, that she never found an alcoholic that didn't have psychological problems. It's why we drink! And most of us never have testing. Good wishes to you!
