Articles/Online reading about recovery you found helpful?
Hello, I was wondering if any of you have any links you would like to share that have helped you on you path of recovery? I was hoping to bookmark some good articles to read through whenever I have a moment and to keep me progressing in my recovery...
I do attend AA a few times a week but find reading about recovery, /different perspectives etc each day help keep my my mind focused in the right direction.
I'll start with these links that Dee shared which I found very useful:
Action Planning for Prevention and Recovery:
https://store.samhsa.gov/shin/conten...0/SMA-3720.pdf
the next step toward a better life:
https://store.samhsa.gov/shin/conten...SMA12-4474.pdf
Apologies if there is already a thread covering this! Thank you.

brach - Soberwolf has quite a large volume of neat stuff bookmarked with links in a "scrapbook" he created, very cool. The Ted Talks are mostly recovery oriented I believe - check it out from our friend wolfie! http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...scrapbook.html
I enjoy the AA journal / online magazine - Grapevine. Articles, stories of recovery and best of all a searchable archival database of cross section AA literature dating back to inception. Amazing resource, truly.
AA Grapevine | The International Journal of Alcoholics Anonymous
Glad you're with us!

I read AVRT, Attend AA Alive online chat as I found them to be an excellent group, alcoholrehab has a lot of great articles, I have taken the SMART 28 day in patient program and they have online material and a lot of various book marks, if I am thinking about something and I want to learn more I simply use google, for example I am working on forgiving myself so I simply google recovering alcoholic learning forgiveness and you will find a ton of reading material, I take what I believe will work for me and leave the rest.
Good Luck
