Sunny, that's a lot of booze to just quit cold turkey, but you know this already. Since you're determined to do it your way all I can do is pray for you. I hope you make it see you on the other side.

but, I do understand that it is hard for many to taper off booze.
They usually prescribe a few gentle meds in rehab so as to make the stress on the body and mind not so sever. (Recommended)
At the 5-7 day mark you should be ok -- please be very careful....

I know its a lot but I have no choice. I can phone drinkline up many times, go to doctors but the only answer I get is taper, taper, taper. I don't have 5 grand for a rehab.
Anyway she will look after me and feed me. If she thinks I'm getting bad withdrawals then she'll phone an ambulance.
