That is a really great present! I was thinking of buying one for myself because I love seltzer/sparkling water and it's been good for my sobriety. I'm kind of inspired to buy myself one as a New Years gift maybe. ;-)

I always thought elderflower syrup would be just the thing
for a decadent non-alcohol drink if I had a soda fountain.
It is commonly mixed with seltzer water in parts of Europe.
Like Summer in a glass, as it were. . .

I bought an adapter on ebay so I can use my 20oz paintball CO2 tank with my sodastream. $3 to fill the tank compared to the $16 sodastream wants for using their bottles. No comparison! I use Dasani water drops or other similar sugar free water flavor drops

I love my sodastream. Ironically, I used it the most when I was drinking b/c I was so dehydrated every morning. I just cut a piece of lemon and add it, or mix the water with cranberry juice. I'm sure there are lots of way to use it!

Ok. Used it first time after a little research into the provided links. Put some raspberry zinger tea in a pan with grated ginger, lime zest and sugar in the raw. Strained, chilled and mixed. -where has this been all my life!?!? Ha ha!
