Sorry to hear that Jennifer. Have you tried to get any local help ( meetings, rehab, seeing a doctor, therapy, etc ) or are you just trying this on your own? There's no shame in getting help when you need it.

You are strong enough. If you reach out for help, it will be there. You can quit. If I can do it, you can do it.

You managed 28 days before, you can get there again. But only by committing to never drinking again and doing whatever it takes to support that decision. If SR and reading books isn't enough, get more help.

Easier said than I done I know but you just have to hold on through those tough early cravings. We've all been there, the calling is strong when you are still in the throes. Rome wasn't built in a day. Try again and remind yourself you are building towards something and it is just going to take time to get comfortable

Sorry to hear this Jennifer. I'd just try to get back on the wagon and look for other methods of support, especially this early on in your recovery.

Beyond a point, pretty much no one can quit without help of some kind, and what seems to help the most is live face to face meetings. I'm sure you have some local options, why not give them a try?

I too lacked the power to beat this on my own. I followed Jeffreys suggestion regarding meetings and there I found support and encouragement. But it still wasn't enough. The other thing I found was some directions on what action I could take. The meetings, support, encouragement and action on my part, together. That worked.
