Ugh out of rehab for weekend

Hi all @ SR'x

So far so good no cravings but still adjusting I left all of you off at the 7 horrible day detox bit ;(

Phone still off since 6 weeks ago and Facebook closed down, things do get way better and Rehab was both emotionally draining and fun , I( laughed hard for the first time in ages , the facilities staff and residents were great , lots of counselling' group therapy' lectures' yoga sewing gardening .

I dunno why I'm posting tonight , little lonely I guess and real world a little weird but so am I lol

Ah walk the line this is only the start of it !, there is a Girl from Kent who came in last week on account of U.K centers being too expensive and long , try and get a solid detox in and go fearless into A.A as scary as that may seem at the time ?.
If you want it bad enough its yours

Howdy jfire, Glad to hear that you learned some things in rehab. Learning to laugh again is a big deal in itself. We're here all weekend if you need a shoulder to lean on.

From where I sit now at 4+ years sober this sounds so awesome and so great I'm almost envious i didnt go to rehab myself.

BUT

If you put me into that environment on day 1 of my quit I woulda been like scrooge. I would have been flat out ticked off to be there etc.. and wouldnt appreciate what an opportunity it is etc..

My point is I'm glad you went and had a good expierience thats great news!

Use the tools you learned in rehab, and just take things one day at a time. You might be surprised at how well that works.
