Why do some people carry their AA chips on them?

I did the same thing for the first year or two, I kept my coins in my pocket and when I had anxiety I would rub them in my pocket. For a while I carried them all at the same time. I remember going through airport security and having to drop them all in the little bin, lol. Now I just keep my current year in my big book cover. But i know a man who has 30+ years and he keeps his in his pocket with his money to remind him not to spend that money on booze!

Fun thread!! Made me laugh and smile.. I keep one in my pocket all the time, I don't flash it, just makes me feel good, lose them, get another desire chip, find the old one in pockets of coats, jackets etc.. Funny they always turn up and I throw them in the drawer need to take them back to the rooms and recycle them! Good stuff!! Thanks for the topic!!
