Interesting study & article:

University of Helsinki researchers have identified a genetic mutation which renders carriers susceptible to particularly impulsive and reckless behaviour when drunk. More than one hundred thousand Finns carry this mutation.

Hi Geralt, I read this yesterday...it is very interesting . I don't think the mutation is limited to just the Finns. It is an equal opportunity mutation!!

Thank god I stopped drinking alcohol so I don't have to worry about this one bit. Phew!

Yup, I haven't been drunk since I quit drinking Chief. It's not rocket surgery but I am happy to see science catch up with what we all already know. Not all alcoholics behave the same but given time it still kills even the happy drunks dead, dead, dead.

Oh yeah there's definitely something wrong with a brain that wants more and more alcohol. Nonalcoholic stopped drinking after a few because it makes them feel crappy.
