I do have activities but today they felt 100% forced, and made think 100% about a solution to that: drink. But that's not THE solution. Yikes. So I joined this instead. Haven't drank, WAAHOO!

welcome, Chris.
there will be days like that, and doing 'feeling-forced-activities' is okay. there is something to the concept of acting yourself into different thinking/out of destructive thinking.

it's great you see that drinking is not THE solution. it's great because it shows you don't need to go there, and it puts you in the spot of knowing you need to find another, real one.

congratulations on your 84 days and on showing up and posting and reaching out.

Thanks On The Road. I guess I sorta had a plan but it wasn't written down, and wasn't thorough enough. I've started a journal/plan with some our your thoughts included and all sorts of positive thoughts I've had along the way that keeps me grounded. Along with a few new ones too. It's helped already. Much appreciated, best of luck!

Chris - glad I could help. Keep kicking a**! I promise that sobriety will really start sticking pretty soon.

Chris,

The thing to always remember is that if you drink you will always want more -- so the craving becomes bigger and bigger and whats the point of that.

Just got to go through it all over again.

Hang tough.
