Hi Carlotta, Its 06.05am here in Ireland, I woke early with thoughts of drink and slightly down which is not unusual for me these few days, I was in bed early as I was quite tired from my day yesterday. I put the news on to see the brutal atrocities which are happening in Paris, I had to turn it off as it too sad for me to watch. I'm here now sipping on a cup of tea and watch Eckhard Tolle on youtube which i find very helpful.
Hopefully I might get another few zzzz's in a while as I try to be grateful for what I have now, a roof over my head, food in the refrigerator and loving caring people around me. Today I meet my Brother and niece for lunch, I'm quite nervous about going into the city but I'll say my prayers before I go and I know God will watch over me and help me.

Hi Tooshabby, It went very well, I wasn't too nervous when I got there, I met my Brother and niece and we had coffee together.
I went to Corks first AA meeting, I think it is there since 1955, maybe earlier, not too sure but it was great.

Hi Emme, I'm still holding on for dear life, the cravings have eased considerably, I'm still on a strong detox though but I'm back to GP on Friday who says he will start decreasing.
I'm 7 days alcohol free today.
I'm keeping myself busy with forms that should of been filled in 4 months ago and watching TV for the moment.
I'm starting to feel someway normal again, thank you for remembering me, it means a lot.

I would give my right arm to see him, I would love to be able to practice his teachings properly even though they are so simple, they can be very difficult to put into practice in today's world.
